On this blog I write from the perspective of a person with a mental illness (borderline personality disorder to be more specific) and how I experience the world around me – doing a PhD, caring for a husband with cancer, my faith, suicidality, etc.

The name of the blog comes from my experience with the crisis team who most frequently suggested to me to have a bath or a cup of tea as a well known cure for being suicidal.

I am also the founder of a mental health campaign at York called Mind Your Head.
